A large wooden hand carved Tekno bowl from Hungry.  These vintage bowls were used to salt meat, most people call them ‘dough troughs’ as they look very similar to dough troughs/bowls.

They make lovely table centre pieces  especially at Christmas time.  However, they can be filled with all manner of items such as; magazines, baubles, candles, soaps and bathroom accessories, the list is endless.

There is wear and worm holes due to their age but all adds to the overall character and look.

We aim to give a good representation of the condition of our furniture in both our images and description. Vintage items have all had a previous life and in most cases the condition will show signs of age with wear and tear including scuffs and scratches. All our items are treated for woodworm as they arrive in our warehouse.
