A 1930’s industrial pine draper’s table from a cotton mill in Huddersfield. The top lifts up which is where the fabric would have been draped over to be checked by quality control. Fabric would have been also been stored on the shelf below. The top has a formica surface with staining but all intact, the top could obviously be covered in zinc or with another material or wood of choice.
This table must have been the fifth in line in the factory as it’s has a number five written on the side. There is a photograph below of some of the tables when the mill was operational.

Vintage items have all had a previous life and in most cases the condition will show signs of age with wear and tear including scuffs and scratches.
