A delightful pale 1890’s French elbow chair with rush seating and beautiful turned arms . The tapered cabriole legs are supported by stretchers and a double slatted back.
The rush seat has wear due to age, there is old worm holes and a piece of beading missing on the left hand side of the chair that sits flush against the rush seating, however this doesn’t detract from the overall look.
A lovely looking chair that would sit perfectly in most rooms of the house.
It measures: W56cm x D54cm x H90cm and floor to seat 43cm
We aim to give a good representation of the condition of our furniture in both our images and description. Vintage items have all had a previous life and in most cases the condition will show signs of age with wear and tear including scuffs and scratches.
