I can’t resist a Globe Wernicke barristers bookcase – whenever I see one, I try to buy it, although getting harder to find. This is a lovely mahogany one circa 1930’s. It splits in to four pieces and the glass lift up and pushes back into the recess when open. The glass is quite fragile as they didn’t have secondary glazing in thirties. A lovely timeless piece and great for a home office.
