Two nude sketches signed by C20th Spanish artist Servando del Pilar together with the Atelier stamp. De Pilar was born in 1903 in the Castile region of Spain. His work has a distinctly Postimpressionist style combined with Cubist elements, with the female form being one of his most comfortable subjects.
He exhibited at the Salon des Independents and the Salon d’Automne when he was very young and later exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art of Modern Art of Madrid in 1944. Servando del Pilar died in 1990.
