An über cool rare Austrian Thonet Bentwood wingback armchair model no.6541 made circa 1904.

It has been well looked after although the original upholstery has faded over the years and the varnish worn in places but overall sturdy and very comfortable.

Its fabulous shape reflect the Art Nouveau period with it’s wonderful curves.  I personally love the colour although it would benefit from being reupholstered and if I were to keep it, a cream fabric would look really look elegant and a great contrast against the dark wood frame.

A design classic and now very collectable.

Vintage items have all had a previous life and in most cases the condition will show signs of age  with wear and tear including scuffs and scratches.
