This authentic 18th-century English cricket table is a remarkable piece of history, showcasing a beautifully weathered circular plank top supported by its classic three-legged stance and lower T-stretcher. Crafted from solid oak, it bears the unmistakable character marks of its long life, including old, historic signs of woodworm as well as an honest repair. For a utilitarian piece of this age such signs are entirely natural—in fact, it would be strange and almost suspicious if a piece this genuinely old didn’t display these honest badges of time.

It does have a little wobble about it so would work well as a lamp table rather than a main coffee table.
